SBA Small Business Resources and Risk Management for Reopening During COVID

The Small Business Administration (SBA) and The Greater Chico Area SCORE Chapter have joined forces to provide information you need whether your business is open or planning on reopening in the COVID environment.

SBA will share information on federal programs and services, including COVID-19 relief, standard SBA loan programs, federal contracting programs, small business webinar training, and one-on-one business counseling at no cost.

SCORE’s presentation will cover the following:

  • Describe the critical steps to reopening with the long-term health of one’s business in mind
  • Provide an understanding of the business owner’s duty to customers, employees, and vendors
  • Identify steps to take to reduce legal liability related to reopening

About the Speakers:

Janelle Green from the SBA’s Sacramento District Office economic development team will deliver the presentation. Created in 1953, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) is the only cabinet-level federal agency fully dedicated to small businesses and provides counseling, capital, and contracting expertise as the nation’s only go-to resource and voice for small businesses.
