Assistant Property Manager — Full Time opening in Chico, California
Desired skills and abilities:
- The Assistant Property Manager must be well organized, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision to prioritize, juggle, and complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer skills with Word and Excel. Ability to access and efficiently utilize online data systems.
- Be accepting of cultural diversity and the economic and social situations of low-income individuals, including those transitioning from homelessness and those with mental health disabilities.
Under the guidance of the Resident Manager, a qualified candidate will be able to perform the following tasks:
- The Assistant Property Manager maintains all tenant files and related documents in a well-organized, approved order.
- Receive and process applications.
- The Assistant Property Manager schedules appointments for certifications, re-certification, and unit inspections.
- Complete certification, re-certification, and inspection procedures on all residents.
- Perform initial and ongoing occupancy orientation with all new residents, especially regarding House Rules.

The Job
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), Monday through Friday, non-exempt position. Pay is dependent upon experience.
