HELP WANTED: Administrative Assistant, 30-40 hours per week

Administrative Assistant Position for the North Valley Property Owners Association

The North Valley Property Owners Association is seeking to fill the vacant position of an Administrative Assistant.  This position is 30-40 hours a week, Monday-Friday typically from 9-4pm.  Compensation will be dependent on experience and knowledge of residential housing laws.

The primary role of this position is to support the Executive Director in executing and carrying out duties that move the rental housing association forward.  The North Valley Property Owners Association is a non-profit that provides education, advocacy, and support to area housing providers that own or manage residential and commercial real estate.  Currently we represent a twelve county territory, with 750 members, and just over 23, 000 rental units.

The Ideal candidate would possess the following skills:

  • One year minimum of Experience & Understanding of California Fair Housing Laws
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills
  • Phone Etiquette
  • Professional Character and Attire
  • Social Media Experience
  • Written and Verbal Communication Skills
  • Computer Experience that includes a fluent understanding of Microsoft word programs
  • Data Entry/Research
  • Sales/Outreach/Marketing Skills
  • Clerical Skills
  • Attention to Detail
  • Valid California Drivers License
