The workshop will feature John Robinson, former long-time CEO of the Associated Builders and Contractors- Northern California Chapter, and Anne Quick, V.P. of Compliance at the Associated Builders and Contractors- Northern California Chapter
John brings over 40 years of experience in the construction industry, having spent his career with the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC). Now retired, he continues to consult with open-shop trade associations. Anne has served 8 years on the California Apprenticeship Council, and is knowledgeable on California Public Works requirements including Skilled and Trained Workforce Regulations.
Topics will include:
- Skilled & Trained Workforce Regulations – How contractors can utilize accelerated apprenticeship programs to meet workforce requirements.
- Understanding PLAs and Exploring Alternatives – Strategies for providing awarding bodies and cities with competitive, open-shop solutions.
