This class will look at the 2019 code changes, the effect they have on design and construction and what techniques, technologies and methods are available to implement the changes with consideration to cost and efficiency.

The class will be broken into four interconnected classes.

1. Understanding Building Science and How it Applies to the Building Envelop
2. System Design Options: Pro’s and Con’s (HVAC, Hot Water and IAQ)
3. Introduction to Solar Basics
4. Overview of New Code Changes and Their Overall Effects on Construction Practices

Lead by Green Building professional, Steve Buttitta of NorCal Green Building Consulting, this class will prepare you to apply the 2019 code changes to your projects and how they benefit your clients.
