Melanie is an accomplished Human Resources professional with more than 20 years’ experience providing leadership and guidance to executive teams and entrepreneurs. Melanie’s expertise includes overseeing the Human Resource function for employers of all sizes–from large global companies to small manufacturing facilities. Since 2012 she has worked with Barrett Business Services, Inc. (BBSI) where she consults with business owners in diverse industries including construction, agriculture and transportation. Melanie’s passion for her field is reflected in her involvement with professional HR organizations locally and state-wide. She is the current Director of Diversity and Inclusion for CalSHRM and President of Northstate SHRM.
