Every Contractor Employer in California needs to have- as part of an IIPP- a plan for training and documentation for safe and proper use of hand and power tools which:

• Develops and implements procedures for safe treatment and handling of tools including inspection, operation, PPE, working surface and environment, and tool storage
• Provides operational manuals and coordinates training for managers as outlined in the IIPP
• Includes documentation of all training and logs of any incidents or injuries- for 5 years previous to current date
• Provides emergency response procedures and steps for investigation
• Monitors program and ensures continued compliance

This Training Covers:
✅ How to create your plan to teach and demonstrate safe inspection, operation, personal protection, hazard prevention, and storage involving tools
✅ How to develop and maintain training for employees and managers and keep proper records of training and incidents
✅ How to create and practice emergency response procedures in the event of injury or hazardous incident
✅ Evaluating your scope of work as it relates to developing your specific plan for tool safety in your IIPP
