2022 Building Code Update Information
As we’ve all heard by now, 2022 Building Codes go into effect for building permits applications received in 2023. Deadlines for filing Building Permits without being subject to the 2022 updated codes for our local jurisdictions are below.

In an attempt to break the code changes into digestible, easy to understand language, VCE along with CBA, the City of Chico, and Butte County held a workshop conducted by Philip Henry, CBO, CASp, Chief Building Official, City of St. Helena. From his presentation, we’ve created this document.
