What to do When OSHA Shows Up

OSHA shows up at your jobsite or office and says they are there to investigate an employee complaint.  Are you and your team ready for what is to follow?  Join us as we walk through the ‘do’s’ and ‘don’ts’ of an OSHA inspection.  This is a must attend class for all levels.

In this workshop you will learn:

  • When an OSHA inspection can take place
  • Basic steps necessary to ensure a smooth inspection
  • What is the scope and limitations of an OSHA inspection
  • Who leads the inspection
  • Recommended tools and documents to have on hand prior to the inspection
  • How to respond to an OSHA citation

SPEAKER
Bret Hinerman is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Construction Management from CSU Chico. His background spans 25 years: 14 years in heavy civil and marine construction as a safety manager and project engineer; 11 years of water and wastewater utility experience as a regional safety manager for a large publicly traded utility company. Bret focuses on active engagement at all levels of an organization to achieve safety results.
