California Prevailing Wage Law

July 18, 2019 @ 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm

$40 – $80

What is Prevailing Wage?  How do I know if I have to pay Prevailing Wages?  What wage do I pay?  What happens if I don’t?

What are the Apprenticeship Requirements?  Where do I find an apprentice?  When do I have to request one?  What is a DAS 140 and DAS 142?

Base Wage?  Fringe Benefits?  Training Contributions?

Skilled & Trained Workforce compliance?  What is that??

If you have ever asked one of these questions, this is the class for you.  If your company does any public works projects, this is the class for you.  If you’re considering getting into the public works project arena, this is definitely the class for you.

Join us and Cook Brown attorney Carrie Bushman for a seminar on Prevailing Wage and Skilled & Trained Workforce Compliance.
She’ll review what types of work, projects, and workers are covered. Attendees will learn how to read and interpret prevailing wage determinations, including scopes of work, travel and subsistence provisions, and shift differential provisions. The class will also cover public works contractor registration requirements; apprenticeship compliance; recordkeeping requirements including eCPR; and prevailing wage enforcement, with a focus on the Skilled & Trained Workforce regulations.
